A white town sign reading CHARLO stands on two black posts with a small 13 marker, while a gray grain elevator and sheds line the railroad at left. Small outbuildings and utility poles dot the horizon, and the ghosted word CHARLO and the number 13 reappear in the corners.

Dennis Johnson worked from a reference in Charlo, Montana. Acrylic on canvas, 36" x 48", 2017.
