Lee's Grill appears here as a small turquoise diner with red rooftop letters and a white fascia band listing HAMBURGERS, HAM-EGGS, CHILE, MALTS and ICE CREAM. Two large dark green shrubs flank the steps, and the pale turquoise sky is scratched with pink and red marks.

Dennis Johnson based the work on a scene in St. Louis, Missouri. Acrylic and Mixed Media on canvas, 36" x 48", 2015.
